Holiday entitlement

Annual leave runs 1st April – 31st March
Annual leave allocation is pro-rata for part-time employees and those joining part way through a year.

Maternity/Paternity leave
- Maternity Pay:
Is payable to employees that have 26 weeks of service or more at the start of the 15th week before the baby is due. Eligible employees can take up to 52 weeks of leave.
Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) for eligible employees is paid as follows:
- • the first 6 weeks: 90% of their average weekly earnings (AWE) before tax
- • the remaining 33 weeks: £151.97 or 90% of their AWE (whichever is lower)
- • maternity allowance may be payable to those employees that don’t meet the criteria for SMP
- Paternity Pay:
Is payable to employees that have 26 weeks service or more at the start of the 15th week before baby is due. Eligible employees can take up to 2 weeks leave within the first 8 weeks after the baby’s birth.
Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) for eligible employees is paid as follows:
- • 90% of their average weekly earnings (AWE) before tax
Sickness pay rates
- During the 6th – 12th months of service
- During the second year of service
- During the third year of service
- During the fourth year of service
- During the fifth year of service
- After five years service
- 1 week’s full pay and 1 week’s half pay
- 1 month’s full pay and 1 month’s half pay
- 2 months full pay and 2 months half pay
- 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay
- 4 months full pay and 4 months half pay
- 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay
